23 years old youngster Dutch footballer Cody Gakpo is set to join Liverpool from PSV Eindhoven in this winter transfer. The deal has been signed on Dec 27. Gakpo has agreed to a six-year deal with Liverpool. The club will pay £37m plus add-ons to PSV Eindhoven, and up to £50m potential package.

As a PSV academy graduate, Gakpo made his first-team debut in February 2018. In the 2021–22 season, he scored 21 goals in 47 matches and won the Dutch Footballer of The Year award. In the Qatar Fifa world cup 2022, he scored 3 goals in 5 games.
